Dr. Faculty Member Orkunt Turgay did a workshop named “MEET WITH CLAY: DESIGN YOUR OWN ANIMATION CHARACTER!” for our 1st and 2nd year students of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design. Within the scope of the workshop, the participants were given a seminar on what is animation, the development history of animation, types of animation, character creation, directing character movements, important character analysis. Then, skeletons were created on the selected characters and figures were designed by shaping them with clay material.
